Solac is fully aware of the growing need to care for, preserve and respect the environment. It bases its commitment to this task on promoting clean working methods and regulated recycling both inside and outside the company, desirous to make a contribution to improving people's quality of life.

To do this, Solac encourages recycling in the manufacture of its products and uses materials and processes that respect the environment, recovering materials to be reused. It also complies scrupulously with the environmental rules and regulations applicable to it, and in the absence of such rules, it creates equivalent standards enabling it to continue with its policy of respecting the natural world.

Solac also encourages the controlled collection and recycling of its products in accordance with the regulations in force, and for these purposes offers basic advice such as that set out below, which are extremely useful.

  • Throwing out old electrical household appliances with the rubbish causes serious damage to the environment.
  • These electrical appliances can be recycled efficiently. They are taken apart, ground down, and then the plastics, metals and other elements they contain can be recovered and used to manufacture new appliances.
  • To enable the residue from electrical and electronic devices to be recycled it is essential you deposit them at Clean Points and Green Points, and other collection and recycling points in cities.
